Netflix is the world's largest subscription streaming service, with hundreds of millions of members across nearly every market and a content slate spanning original series, films and, increasingly, live events and games. Having pioneered on-demand streaming, it has since layered in advertising-supported tiers and a crackdown on password sharing to reignite growth and profitability. Netflix pays no dividend. The company channels its cash into original programming, technology and share buybacks, treating reinvestment and content spending as the better use of capital at this stage. For that reason it registers a low income score and belongs firmly in the growth camp. Anyone holding it is betting on capital appreciation and expanding margins, not on distributions.
