Fiserv

Fiserv is a large payments and financial technology company, providing account processing, card issuing and merchant acquiring services, the latter greatly expanded by its acquisition of First Data and the Clover point-of-sale platform. It processes transactions for banks, merchants and other businesses across a broad global footprint. Fiserv has only recently begun paying a dividend and directs most of its cash toward buybacks and debt reduction, so its distribution history is short and the payout ratio low. The yield is modest and the record too brief to establish a pattern of steady growth. This remains primarily a growth and capital-return story, and its dividend profile is weak, offering little for investors who prioritise reliable, established income.
